HANNIBAL, Mo. –The Hannibal-LaGrange men's golf program is happy to announce the signing of Sam Huskey of De Soto, Mo.  Huskey will graduate from Grandview R-II High School this May. 

While at Grandview, Huskey twice finished in the top 15 for the Gateway Junior PGA Player for the Year Honors in the 16-19 year old division and was one of five members selected to the KJFF Regional Radio Golf Dream Team.

Huskey picked up All-District, All-Sectional and All-Conference golf honors in 2011.  He was also named to the First Team All-State squad in 2011 as he finished in the top 10 at the Missouri State High School Golf Championships.

Huskey also competed in the Future Masters Tournament in Dothan Ala.  He was the only invited participant from the state of Missouri to compete in the 16-19 year old division. 

Huskey is the son of Neil and Angie Huskey and plans to major in pre pharmacy while at Hannibal-LaGrange.

Hannibal-LaGrange University is a Division I NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) institution and a member of the American Midwest Conference.
