Hannibal, Mo. – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Lady Trojans faced off against AMC foe Lindenwood University-Belleville. After a slow start in sets one and two, the Trojans were able to gain some late momentum in set three. However, it would not be enough as they would lose by scores of 11-25, 10-25, and 18-25.

Melissa Ryan (FR/Plainfield, Ill.) led the Lady Trojans with seven kills and nine digs, while Shelby Maupin (JR/St. Peters, Mo.) and Lindsey Fisher each contributed four kills. Khristina Schellentrager (SR/Catheys Valley, Calif.) led the defensive effort for the Trojans and picked up 13 digs; Fisher followed closely with 11. Emily Pfeiffer (JR/Springfield, Ill.) contributed 20 assists.

The Lady Trojans return to action this Friday, October 21, when they travel to Canton, Mo to take on the Culver-Stockton Wildcats. This contest is set to start at 7 p.m.  On Saturday, the ladies will be competing at home against St. Louis College of Pharmacy at 1 p.m.
