Hannibal, Mo. – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Lady Trojans played well against the visiting Eutectics for a 3-0 conference sweep by scores of 25-19, 25-17, and 26-24.  Two Lady Trojans ended the game with double-digit kills while four Trojans ended with double-digit digs.

Shelby Maupin (JR/St. Peters, Mo.) was the main point scorer for the Lady Trojans as she finished with 17 kills and four digs, while Melissa Ryan (FR/Plainfield, Ill.) followed with 11 kills and 19 digs.  Taylor Fry (JR/Boonville, Mo.) added seven kills, and Khristina Schellentrager (SR/Catheys Valley, Calif.) contributed five kills, two service aces, and 16 digs.  Joy Lamb (FR/League City, Texas) pocketed six kills, and Emily Pfeiffer (JR/Springfield, Ill.) ended with 43 assists.  Lindsey Fisher played well for the Trojans and picked up 13 digs.

Head Coach Laura King saw improvement in the team as she stated: "We had a quick turnaround time from last night, but the girls performed the way that we needed them to in order to earn a conference win today.  Next week will be tough, so it is a nice momentum boost for us to finish the week with a win."

The Lady Trojans return to action next Tuesday, October 25, when they will face nationally ranked Columbia College.  This contest is set to start at 7 p.m. in Columbia, Missouri.
