Fulton, Mo. – The Hannibal-LaGrange Women's Golf Team traveled to Fulton, Missouri to play a few rounds of golf at Tanglewood Golf Course.  The tournament was supposed to be a two day event but the first day was rained out.  The ladies were only able to get one round in to count for scoring.

*Lynzie Emerson (FR/Williamsville, Ill.) led the Trojans with a score of 92 and tied for 29th place.

*Julianna Brown (SR/Little Rock, Ark.) was close behind with a 96 which helped her to finish tied for 34th place.

*Kyla Swanson (JR/Marceline, Mo.) (104) and Andrea Sapaugh (FR/Rolla, Mo.) (118) finished out the team scoring for HLGU.

Coach Brennan stated, "It was another rain shortened event for the women but I liked how they pushed through tough conditions to play.  Lynzie and Juli led us once again, and I believe their games are headed in the right direction as the season comes to a close.  Hopefully the weather gets better and more conducive to playing golf here soon."

The ladies have two tournament remaining with one being this coming week, April 3-4 at the Missouri Valley Invitational in Marshall, Missouri.  After that Invitational, they will have about a month to prepare for the AMC Conference Championship hosted in Eugene, Missouri at Redfield Golf Course.  The AMC event will be held on May 1-2.
