Oak Brook, Ill. – The Hannibal-LaGrange Men's Golf Team played in the Elmhurt College Spring Invite hosted at Oak Brook Golf Club on Monday, April 17.  The Trojans finished third out of the 11 teams participating with a 298 total score.  It is the first time this season that HLGU has broken 300.  Millikin University (294) and Wheaton College (295) were the top two teams.

Juan Hurtado finished tied for second place with a one under 71 round.  He was followed by Conor Brady who shot even (72) and Weston Noyes who was plus four (76).  David Bennett rounded out the team score with a 79.

Coach Thomas Brennan shared, "I am pleased with how Juan and Conor played this tournament.  They are playing very solid golf heading into the Conference Championship next week.  Weston also has been a key for us with his solid play of late as well.  But we need to be able to post a solid fourth scorer and that has been hurting us all season.  Someone has to step up here in the next 10 days for us to do well at our final tournament."

The AMC Championship will be hosted on April 24-25 in Camdenton, Missouri.  The Championship will be played at Old Kinderhook Golf Course both days.
