Men's Basketball - Wed, May 17, 2017

Hannibal, Mo. – The Hannibal-LaGrange Men's Basketball Team has signed Tyler Ison who will be playing alongside his brother, Trevor, once again.  The Isons' played for Malden High School in Malden, Missouri.  His parents, Robert and Elana Ison, are excited that they will be together again.  

MHS Head Coach Andrew Halford shared, "Tyler is a dedicated, hard-working, high character individual that will fit in with the atmosphere at HLGU. We are proud of what he's accomplished so far, and know he will be successful in the path he chooses."

Ison has been selected to the Bootheel All-Conference (16-17) team and the Bloomfield Christmas All-Tournament Team (16-17).  As a senior he averaged 14.6 points, 6 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game.  At MHS he is involved in the Beta Club and has decided to major in Business Administration at Hannibal-LaGrange.

"We are excited to add Tyler to our 2017 recruiting class. His accomplishments in high school show that he has the work ethic, dedication, and abilities needed to be a successful student-athlete in our program," added Coach Jason Durst.
