Hannibal, Mo. – The Hannibal-LaGrange Men's Soccer Team has received a signed letter of intent from Remington Galyen of Wagoner High School. Galyen is the son of Richelle and Sammy Galyen from Wagoner, Oklahoma.
"Remington is one of the hardest working players I've had the privilege to coach," Wagoner Head Coach Brandon Carr said. "I wish him nothing but the best, and I know without a doubt that his journey has just begun and he will do great."
Through his four years at WHS Galyen has made steady improvement. As a sophomore, in 2015, he received the best underclassmen award for the soccer program. Then in 2016 he was voted the best offensive player followed by receiving the team MVP as a senior. Throughout his career at WHS Galyen scored 21 goals and had 44 assists.
He plans on majoring in Biology once enrolled at HLGU.
Coach David Erskine shared, "We are excited to have Remington join our 2017 team. He is a quality individual with a good attitude who will work hard and raise the level of his teammates."
