Hannibal, Mo. - Noah Phipps has recently signed a letter of intent to play baseball for Hannibal-LaGrange University. The middle infielder from Nixa, Missouri is joined by his parents Becky and Skipp Phipps in the photo above. He recently graduated from New Covenant Academy in Springfield, Missouri.

Phipps has found success at NCA while playing four sports (baseball, golf, football, and cheer). As a senior, he averaged 0.432 at the plate with 20 runs, 19 hits, 14 RBI's, and four doubles. His on base percentage was 0.519 while his slugging percentage was 0.590. Additionally, Phipps was selected to two All-Star teams, First Team All-Conference, and Second Team All-District.

Once Phipps is enrolled at HLGU he plans on majoring in Physical Education.

Coach Ben Strother stated, "Noah comes to us from New Covenant in Springfield, and the young man is a great fit for our program. He will be a great addition in our middle infield and is coming off an exceptional senior season at the plate."
