Thompson had this to say about joining the Trojans, "I chose HLGU because Coach Hawes will push me to become an outstanding wrestler. I can see the motivation he has for all his wrestlers. I am looking forward to becoming part of HLGU wrestling". Thompson plans to wrestle at 157/165 pounds for the Trojans. Thompson plans on majoring in Nursing at HLGU.
