Andy Lemons began his role at Hannibal-LaGrange as the head cross country and track and field coach in 2015.
He comes to HLGU after serving, since 2010, as the Hannibal High School assistant track and field coach and head middle school cross country coach. Lemons also gained collegiate coaching experience as Culver-Stockton College’s assistant cross country and indoor track and field coach during the 2012-13 season.
The Hannibal, Missouri native began his coaching career in 2007 as a volunteer assistant for the Hannibal High cross country and track and field programs. He briefly moved on to Monett High School where he held the head coaching position for cross country and boy’s track and field.
Lemons entered Monett High as the assistant boy’s track and field coach before moving into the head coaching position in 2009. In 2010, he helped lead the boy’s track and field team to a conference championship.
Lemons ran cross country for Hannibal-LaGrange in 2003 and 2004, being named an all-region runner in 2003 with a 10th place finish at the NAIA Region V Championships.
After transferring to Lindenwood University, Lemons competed on the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championship team and NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Runner-Up team. He was also named as a Heart of America Athletic Conference indoor champion in the 800-meter race during the 2005 season.
While competing for Hannibal High, Lemons was named as a three-time all-state athlete in both cross country and track and field.
Lemons received his undergraduate degree in 2007 from Lindenwood University, while graduating with a master’s degree in athletic and activities administration from William Woods University in 2013.

Carissa Eichmeyer began as the Assistant Cross Country and Track and Field Coach in 2015.
Carissa is a 2011 graduate of Hannibal-LaGrange University. During her time at HLGU Carissa compete in cross country, track & field, JV women’s basketball and women’s golf. Her athletic accomplishment include 3 time NAIA National qualifier in the racewalk, 7 time AMC All-Conference team member and 6 time AMC All-Conference Academic Team.
Before HLGU Carissa spent 4 years as the assistant cross country/throws coach at Eastern Mennonite University. While at EMU Carissa developed a throws program that produced 2 ODAC Champions, 2 school records, and 7 EMU Top 10 performances.
Carissa has completed her Masters Degree in Sport Management – Administration from Liberty University. She complete her undergrad in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education.
