Sarhea Vandiver has been hired to take over the cheerleading program at Hannibal-LaGrange University. Over the summer she married her husband Nicholas Vandiver and they now reside in Hannibal. She grew up in Gillespie, Illinois and attended HLGU for four years, graduating in 2014 with a degree in Psychology. Since graduating from the university Vandiver has been working at AVENUES, a local domestic and sexual violence shelter as a Volunteer Coordinator and Children’s Program Advocate.
Vandiver has danced throughout her life until she came to HLGU where she began to cheer. She spent the last five summers coaching cheerleading for Sports Crusaders which is a Christ centered organization that connects people to Christ through sports and recreational activities. Additionally, she has been to several Universal Dance Association and Universal Cheer Association camps and has judged various tryouts for all ages.
